It is a suggested point at which to chase the Local Authority if a draft plan has not yet been issued. This is because, if the draft EHCP has not been issued by around this stage of the EHC needs assessment process, it may become increasingly difficult for the Local Authority to complete the process within the overall 20-week statutory timescale.
