Gayle Ripper
SEND Support Consultant
Gayle is a Specialist Assessor with extensive experience across education and
SEND. She is a former SENCo, Assistant Headteacher and secondary school
English teacher, with specialist expertise in access arrangements and dyslexia
assessment. She holds the NASENCo qualification, IPSEA Level 3, and is an
approved Qb Check practitioner.
Gayle is also qualified to carry out Workplace Needs Assessments and is a qualified
Job Coach, supporting neurodivergent individuals and those with additional needs to
access, sustain, and thrive in education and employment.
Alongside her professional roles, Gayle brings valuable lived experience of
supporting and advocating for a neurodivergent young person through the education
system, securing an EHCP, and successfully transitioning into further education and
the workplace. This perspective informs her empathetic, practical, and rights-based
approach to assessment, support and lawful practice.
Passionate about SEND, inclusion, and equality, Gayle is committed to ensuring that
children and young people are appropriately supported to achieve their full potential.
